All Because of Hannah

Thirty-seven-year-old Jillian Moore is about to give birth to her second child. But while in labor, her doctor neglects her for unknown reasons which results in the birth of a profoundly brain damaged girl she names Hannah. As Jillian learns to cope with her sick child, she struggles with growing resentment toward her husband, Nathan, anger toward the doctor, and a fractured relationship with her teenaged daughter, Caroline.

Caroline, meanwhile, goes head first into puberty feeling lonely and confused about her changing life and her new position as the “oldest child.” When she enters high school, she falls in love with a boy who brings happiness in her life, who inspires her to blossom into a confident young woman, and who also happens to be the son of the doctor who delivered Hannah.

Told from the perspectives of Jillian and Caroline, All Because of Hannah is a compelling story about one family’s struggle to raise a child born with cerebral palsy, the strain it puts on the relationship between mother and daughter, and the steps each makes that will either bring their family back together, or tear it apart.
